How do I have so few awesome friends? I mean, people like me and I like people, but friends? Real true blue friends? They're way rarer. I don't think its a question of our standards being too high. Or maybe. I think it's similar to the reason why I'm single. I only will call something awesome if it is awesome. So those groups of girls that are all such BFFs (you know the type? Like 5 or 6 girls who are a little clique of best friendship? But they actually all hate each other?) they can title their friends "amazing" and "best friend ever" when really their friendship is mediocre. Or people who have annoying boyfriends? I only want a bf who is excellent! Sometimes I wish my social sphere would expand. But also, when I think about it, I already have some super super super close people in my life. It's sort of selfish for me to hope I can always have one such person around. I don't know. I call a spade a spade. I'm terrible at schmoozing and there are lots of people that I just cannot connect with. They're so insincerely simple. Go for gold, even with friends? Ps.
